Who We Are

Wild Walk Tours was founded in 2000 by a group of professional and experienced birders and photographers who specialize in exotic birding tours in India. Wild Walk tours provide birdwatchers and photographers with the best-guided tour services. We’ve always been passionate about making people happy, and what better way than to help them reach their happiest destination? We provide our clients with all the travel services they need for the trip of their choice. India being home to such rich biodiversity and varied culture, Wildl Walk now also offers mammal watching and photography tours, and also cultural tours.

Our team comprises people who have memories of great experiences in almost all national parks in India. It’s not just the national parks; we also know many natural unreserved forests and places not so popular on the map very well. The team Wild Walk is well versed with the enchanting wildlife of the Indian subcontinent including some in the neighbouring countries such as Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. We love to explore and learn and in recent years our expertise has also grown, now covering the best of South East Asian wilderness, Borneo, Spain, Sweeden, East Africa and more.

This enables us to offer exclusive itineraries that promise new experiences of wildlife encounters. We conduct dedicated tours for wildlife photography and outdoor camping that lets you get a glimpse inside the wild world.

Giving back to the Society

A percentage of our business revenue is allocated for sustaining and supporting the conservation efforts that we are also involved in through a non-profit organization Life Line For Nature Society at Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur, which is a UNESCO Heritage site.

Testimonials

My wife and I have just completed an amazing adventure with Wild Walk Tours in India.

From the very first to the very last moment of our trip our Naturalist Guide, Mr. Pravesh Kumar, went out of his way to ensure we got the very best out of our whole journey. Not just the wildlife experiences, but the finer details from arranging a special greeting and escort who guided us through Customs and Immigration as soon as we got off our plane, to making sure we were getting the food we wanted, and that we were comfortable on our train journey. Some extra night-time spotting expeditions were arranged from our Hotel in Kanha and he also guided us on a day trip to Delhi and Old Delhi on our last day.

The experience of Pravesh involving me in a game of cricket with some young boys in a park was a special moment and resulted in my Indian tour career best of 8 runs not out.

Pravesh was always happy and cheerful and nothing was a problem, including when I lost our passports in the national park at Bandhavgarh. He helped coordinate a massive search and we had them back within two hours of being reported missing. They had spent the night somewhere in the park and had been driven over! He excelled in Agra by helping to organize an exchange of money through Sameel (surname?) who obtained an excellent rate for us.

Pravesh, with consultation with Guddu, also negotiated with different shops to get us the best deal on a new SD card for our camera. Everything that was organized ran like clockwork and we were never late for anything, all other guides and drivers dutifully appeared when they were supposed to. The enthusiasm and commitment to ensuring we had the best possible experiences and wildlife sightings on our game drives could not be faulted. Pravesh’s expertise and experience in tracking animals through the parks and anticipating where they may venture out of the forest ensured we had some awesome Tiger sightings, including the grand finale of two tigers mating at eye level and very close to our perfectly positioned vehicle. He had a great eye for picking out birds and animals as we were driving along. We would thoroughly recommend both Pravesh and Wild Walk Tours for anyone considering an adventure in India.

We arrived as strangers and left as friends.
